About us
Our fa
milies have experienced a devastating loss recently. Chris Vasiliou, who was only 14 years young, lost his battle to Vasculitis Disease after weeks of valiant struggling. Chris was a young, strong, vibrant, innocent and loving child. He will be dearly missed by his parents, Mary and Harry, Sister Irene and thousands of friends who attended his wake and funeral. Those who loved Chris know that we can not bring him back, but his untimely death will not be in vain if just one child’s life can be saved by our efforts.

What is Vasculitis?
Vasculitis is an inflammation of the blood vessels, arteries, veins or capillaries. When such inflammation occurs, it causes changes in the walls of blood vessels, such as weakening and narrowing that can progress to the point of blood vessel blockage. A result of vasculitis is that the tissues and organs supplied by affected blood vessels do not get enough blood. This can cause organ and tissue damage that can even lead to death.
